Job summary

Remington Hotels is seeking a skilled maintenance engineer to respond to service calls within 30 minutes, diagnose issues, perform repairs, and document actions on the work order system across hotel facilities.

You will coordinate with electricians, carpenters, painters and the night engineer to complete repairs, alterations and new installations while upholding safety, codes and hotel standards. A strong background in HVAC, electrical, plumbing or related trades is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel engineering including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general construction.
• State certification or licensure where required.
• Read and understand blueprints and technical parts breakdown.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls within 30 minutes of receipt.
• Diagnose defects, troubleshoot, and take corrective action for urgent or guest-related tasks and log on the work order.
• Follow procedures for repair, maintenance, alteration and installation work.
• Comply with local, county, state and federal codes and requirements.
• Coordinate with electricians, carpenters, painters and night engineer to complete work.
