Job summary

Fairfield by Marriott Whitewater is seeking a Maintenance Associate to help keep our hotel facilities and equipment in top condition. The role covers plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs, with daytime hours and weekend availability.

You will perform inspections, complete daily checklists, respond to guest maintenance needs, and carry out preventive maintenance to meet brand standards. A strong attention to detail and good communication with guests and team members are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing maintenance.
• Ability to read and follow work orders.
• Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness.
• Weekend availability and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily/weekly/monthly inspections of mechanical equipment.
• Complete tasks on the daily maintenance checklist.
• Respond to guest maintenance needs and service requests.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to meet hotel standards.
• Communicate concerns to the General Manager about tools or projects.
• Assist with exterior maintenance such as snow removal and landscaping.
• Process work orders and maintain equipment like vacuums, carpet cleaners.
• Inspect company vehicles and maintain a clean work area.
