Job summary

Sheraton Suites Philadelphia Airport is seeking a hotel maintenance engineer to respond quickly to service calls, diagnose defects, and perform repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and related building systems. The role requires coordinating with multiple departments to complete installation and repair work in a busy airport-area hotel.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel engineering experience including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building construction.
• State certification or licensure where required.
• Read and understand blueprints, schematic drawings and technical parts breakdown.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Readiness to work in a fast-paced hotel maintenance environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls within 30 minutes of receipt.
• Diagnose defects and take corrective action; document on work orders.
• Perform repair, maintenance, alteration and installation work per procedures.
• Comply with codes and regulations at local, state and federal levels.
• Coordinate with electricians, carpenters, painters and night engineers to complete tasks.
