Sheraton Suites Philadelphia Airport is seeking a motivated hotel engineer to join our facilities team in Philadelphia, PA. You will respond to service calls, troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems, and coordinate with specialists to keep the property running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has hotel engineering experience, vocational training or licensure, good communication skills, and physical stamina for an office-style role with occasional lifting.

Qualifications

• Hotel engineering experience, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing
• State certification or licensure where required
• Read and understand blueprints and schematics
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lift 10–25 pounds as needed

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls within 30 minutes of receipt
• Determine defects and troubleshoot malfunctions, take corrective action
• Perform repair, maintenance, alteration and installation work
• Comply with local, county, state and federal codes
• Coordinate with electricians, carpenters, painters, and night engineer
