Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative and repair work on mechanical and electrical systems across the hotel property in Fort Lauderdale. The role covers grounds, pool, and facility upkeep, with 24/7 operations requiring flexible shifts.

Candidates should have knowledge in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, with ability to troubleshoot and use basic tools. A high school diploma is preferred; strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry trades.
• Able to troubleshoot and repair routine mechanical and electrical malfunctions.
• Willing to comply with hotel policies, safety, and emergency procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexible hours.
• Good English reading/writing and interaction with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs malfunction in mechanical or electrical systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing) and other equipment throughout the hotel.
• Performs preventative maintenance assignments on a schedule basis.
• Maintains the building exterior and grounds, pool, and related facilities.
• Follows safety and security procedures and hotel policies.
• Assists other Engineering Personnel and performs related duties as requested by supervisor.
