Schulte Hospitality Group in Boston Westwood seeks an energetic Maintenance Engineer to join our team. You will oversee property grounds, guest rooms, and public areas, performing preventative maintenance and responding to orders to keep the hotel running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have at least two years in hotel maintenance, knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, and the ability to communicate clearly.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (2) years in a hotel maintenance position preferred.
• One year of college or trade school equivalent in mechanical, electrical, and/or technical disciplines is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the property grounds, public areas and hotel guest rooms.
• Conducts preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations.
• Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; maintain an adequate supply of spare parts and light bulbs.
• Responds to maintenance orders in a timely manner.
• Fulfills work orders in a timely manner.
• Completed daily rounds, identifying and reporting problems.
• Perform various other duties as assigned.
