Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic Maintenance Engineer to join our team at CY Boston Westwood. This part-time role focuses on keeping guest rooms and public areas well-maintained, with a hands-on approach to preventative care and rapid response to maintenance orders.

The ideal candidate has HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry knowledge, plus basic math and strong communication skills to interact with guests and staff.

Qualifications

• Two to three years in hotel maintenance or equivalent.
• One year of college or trade school in mechanical, electrical, or technical disciplines.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Oversees property grounds, public areas and guest rooms.
• Performs preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in accommodations.
• Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation and stock spare parts.
• Responds to maintenance orders in a timely manner.
• Fulfills work orders promptly and completes daily rounds.
• Identifies and reports problems observed during rounds.
• Perform various other duties as assigned.

Education
