Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic Maintenance Engineer to join our team. This on-site role focuses on maintaining hotel facilities, preventative maintenance, and timely responses to maintenance orders across guest rooms and public areas.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in hotel maintenance, with knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and carpentry, plus a strong ability to communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in a hotel maintenance role or similar setting.
• Trade school or equivalent coursework in mechanical, electrical, or technical disciplines preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Oversees property grounds, public areas, and guest rooms.
• Performs preventative maintenance to prevent equipment failures.
• Inspects fixtures, lighting, and signs; maintains spare parts inventory.
• Responds quickly to maintenance orders and completes work orders promptly.
• Completes daily rounds and reports issues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
