Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to oversee the property grounds, public areas and guest rooms. You will perform preventative maintenance to ensure hotel accommodations operate smoothly and respond quickly to maintenance orders.

Ideal candidates bring HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry knowledge, with at least two years in hotel maintenance and a related college/trade background.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years in a hotel maintenance position preferred.
• One year of college or trade school in mechanical, electrical, or technical disciplines.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the property grounds, public areas and hotel guest rooms.
• Conducts preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations.
• Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; maintain spare parts and bulbs.
• Responds to maintenance orders promptly.
• Fulfills work orders in a timely manner.
• Completed daily rounds, identifying and reporting problems.
• Perform various other duties as assigned.
