Job summary

Hampton Inn & Suites Toledo-Perrysburg is seeking an Engineer to maintain guest rooms and public areas, address repairs, and uphold safety standards. The role emphasizes teamwork, timely maintenance, and strong guest service delivery.

Qualifications

• Technical, trade or vocational degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of work-related experience in hospitality or related field preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older to perform this job.
• Willing to work a varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong listening, conflict resolution and communication skills.
• Must follow established guidelines and procedures and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and confirm completion through the work order system.
• Perform preventative maintenance and keep records up to date.
• Ensure safety measures are followed and report emergencies to supervisor/manager.
• Conduct full property walks at shift start and end, noting maintenance needs.
