Job summary

Hampton Inn & Suites Hammond, part of Ascent Hospitality, is seeking a dependable Maintenance Worker to join our Engineering Team and help keep guest rooms, public areas, and facilities in excellent condition.

In this hands-on role, you will perform routine and preventative maintenance, respond to requests, assist with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs, and support with safety and cleanliness standards to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the hotel.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, emergencies, and guest needs.
• Assist with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general building repairs.
• Inspect and maintain guest rooms, public areas, meeting spaces, and pools as applicable.
• Repair and maintain doors, locks, fixtures, lighting, appliances, and equipment.
• Complete work orders accurately and safely, and document performed tasks.
