Job summary

Hampton-Inn- is seeking a maintenance professional skilled in carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical work to handle general maintenance at our hotel. You will be kept busy with diverse projects, both independent and team-driven, in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

You will perform preventive maintenance, manage work orders, and ensure compliance with franchise standards. This role requires flexibility, safety awareness, and a commitment to guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Able to lift, stand, carry tools and equipment.
• Some experience in carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical work.
• General maintenance and repair knowledge is required.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Implement preventative maintenance programs for the property/equipment.
• Adhere to hotel/franchise and standards; supervise maintenance staff.
• Oversee all maintenance staff and safety procedures.
• Inspect and maintain elevators and life safety systems.
• Maintain and test pool, whirlpool, and water systems per health codes.
• Manage parts inventory and coordinate with General Manager on needed items.
• Maintain grounds, parking lot, and landscaping.
