Job summary

Hampton Inn & Suites Tulsa South-Bixby is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to uphold cleanliness, safety, and guest comfort across the hotel. You will respond to repair requests, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure adherence to safety standards while maintaining a welcoming environment for guests.

The role requires a positive attitude, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting. A varied schedule, including evenings and weekends, may be required.

Qualifications

• Technical or vocational degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of related work experience in a hospitality or facilities role preferred.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow guidelines and procedures.
• Handle pace and pressure in a hotel environment.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Hospitality and guest service mindset.
• Must be 18+ and available for varied shifts including evenings/nights/weekends.
• Punctual clock-in/clock-out discipline.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and document completion via the electronic work order platform.
• Perform preventative maintenance on rooms and public spaces per the PM program.
• Follow safety codes and report emergencies to supervisor; respond promptly to life-safety concerns.
• Conduct full property walks at the start and end of shifts; note and complete tasks.
• Keep maintenance areas clean and well-organized during shift and before departure.
