Job summary

Homewood-Suites-By-Hilton is seeking a reliable Hotel Maintenance Technician to uphold guest room and public area upkeep, equipment care, and building systems. You will perform routine maintenance, respond to requests, and assist with emergencies to ensure a safe, comfortable environment for guests and staff.

The role requires basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems, plus strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.

Qualifications

Experience with maintenance tasks is preferred, especially in hotels or commercial properties.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lift, carry, bend, climb stairs, and perform physical maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel.
Respond promptly to guest room and facility maintenance requests.
Inspect and maintain plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, doors, locks, and other hotel equipment.
Troubleshoot maintenance issues and complete repairs efficiently.
Maintain guest rooms and public areas to company and brand standards.
Assist with emergency maintenance situations when needed.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and report major issues to management.
Follow all safety procedures and local regulations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
