The Lodge at Gulf State Park is seeking an experienced Engineer to respond to service calls, perform preventive maintenance, and repair hotel systems across the property. You will help maintain water systems, boilers, chillers, and electrical gear to ensure a safe, efficient, and comfortable guest environment.

Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma or trade training, plus 2 years of building maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or trade school; courses in building maintenance and construction.
• Ability to maintain and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing equipment and perform carpentry, repair work, construction and renovation work.
• Communicate information and hotel services to management, staff and guests.

Responsabilités

• Respond to and handle guest requests in a courteous, efficient, safe manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance and necessary repairs on hotel equipment (kitchen, laundry, boiler, plumbing, pool, HVAC, electrical, guest rooms).
• Take water samples of boiler, loop, and cooling tower systems and treat the water to maintain chemical levels.
• Operate equipment; monitor domestic hot/cold-water systems and electrical switch gears for proper operation.
• Maintain cleanliness and general maintenance in engineering spaces and other daily operations.
• Make rounds to ensure everything is in working order and complete maintenance requests and meter readings.
