Job summary

Highgate Hotels, LP is seeking an Engineer Maintenance for E11EVEN Club Hotel & Residences in Miami to maintain building systems — electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and painting — and to handle work orders promptly. The role includes preventive maintenance and special projects as assigned by the Assistant Director of Engineering.

Ideal candidates have hotel experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Licensed in a trade preferred (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry).
Must have a valid driver's license for the applicable state.
Ability to work days, weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Assist with operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
Change out light bulbs; perform preventative maintenance for guest rooms, including minor repairs.
Perform preventative maintenance for ice machines, refrigerators, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, HVAC, guestrooms, meeting rooms, pool and spa areas.
Perform plumbing repairs, laundry equipment repairs, and preventative maintenance on exhaust fans.
Follow up on alarms and report findings to Front Desk.
Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager.
