Job summary

Boomtown Casino Hotel is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Engineer for the day shift in Verdi, NV. The role involves diagnosing and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, and performing preventive maintenance to ensure guest comfort and safety.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in general maintenance, with knowledge of pumps and building systems, and an OSHA preferred certification. A current CPO license and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
3 years experience in general maintenance or related trade.
Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, pumps.
Previous hotel or hospitality maintenance experience.
Must possess current CPO license and valid driver's license.
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform intermediate-level troubleshooting, repairs, and adjustments on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Maintain pools and hot tubs within NNPH regulations and property needs.
Conduct preventive maintenance on pumps, motors, fans, compressors, controls, and other building systems.
Respond to work orders in a timely and professional manner, prioritizing guest-related issues.
Inspect and maintain tile, flooring, and wall finishes to preserve property standards.
