Job summary

Paragon Tropicana is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for graveyard shift to maintain hotel equipment across rooms and public areas in Las Vegas. This role covers HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, with hands-on repairs and preventative maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction.

The candidate should have 3+ years in skilled crafts, a high school diploma or equivalent, and relevant technical certifications. Ability to lead a team and work nights, weekends, or holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in skilled craft-related positions.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Maintenance/HVAC in Casino Hotel.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Technical certification in preferred field (A/C Tech, Electrician, Plumber, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on rooms.
• Plumbing and electrical repairs and other construction processes.
• Diagnose and replace guest room amenities such as televisions, air conditioning units, lighting fixtures, plumbing fixtures, etc.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all types of equipment.
• Respond to guest calls and emergencies; perform documentation.
• Work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
