Job summary

Fairfield Inn & Suites New York Queens Fresh Meadows is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to keep our hotel’s systems running smoothly and safely. You’ll work hands-on with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment, performing preventive maintenance and timely repairs to support guest comfort and operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in hotel maintenance or a related field preferred.
• Trade license (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry) is highly desirable.
• Valid driver's license required, with an acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on plumbing, HVAC, electrical and other systems to ensure reliability.
• Inspect and repair guest rooms and public areas to maintain guest comfort and safety.
• Handle minor carpentry, painting and furniture repairs as needed.
