Waterford Hotel Group is seeking a Maintenance Engineer in New York to supervise property maintenance, ensure safety, and support guest comfort. You will handle HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and general repairs while coordinating with the Chief Engineer and management.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team, with flexible hours and a focus on guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair duties, including HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, lighting, furniture, and painting.
• Monitor and maintain building systems as assigned.
• Complete maintenance service requests as assigned.
• Maintain a professional and courteous manner with guests, vendors, contractors, and employees.
• Complete grounds work as directed by Chief Engineer.
• Alert General Manager of any unusual occurrence or damage.
• Ensure safety standards comply with company, local, city, state and federal guidelines.
• Respond to guest and colleague maintenance issues promptly and document tasks.
• Perform minor electrical, plumbing, painting, and caulking tasks.
• Snow removal as needed.
