Qualifications

• High School diploma required; trade school coursework preferred.
• Previous engineer/maintenance experience or equivalent training required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct room inspections and identify repair needs.
• Install or repair sheetrock and other wall coverings.
• Paint designated areas and items.
• Install and replace basic electrical fixtures, switches, receptacles, lights, and fixtures.
• Repair furniture and fixtures.
• Program televisions and related devices.
• Perform minor plumbing functions.
• Maintain heating/cooling pumps and preventive maintenance on units.
• Trace and repair water lines.
• Troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment.
• Maintain repair and preventive maintenance records.
• Adhere to local, state and Federal codes.
• Aim to improve guest satisfaction scores and overall guest experience.
• Be prepared to assist as bell attendant during staffing shortages or peak periods.
• Follow Service Recovery Guidelines and safe work practices.
