Job summary

PAH Management seeks a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to oversee day-to-day operations of the hotel's engineering department in Cape Canaveral, FL. The role covers electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC systems to keep the property safe and running smoothly behind the scenes.

The ideal candidate brings practical trade knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to make independent decisions under pressure while delivering exceptional guest service and maintaining brand standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• General knowledge of technical fields such as carpentry, painting, and electrical work.
• Ability to work well in a team atmosphere and make independent decisions.
• Trade certifications or specialized training in electrical, plumbing, mechanical, or HVAC systems.
• Prior experience with hotel electronic lock systems.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal building and safety codes.

Responsibilities

• Guest service: deliver brand promise and provide exceptional guest service.
• Maintenance and repairs: maintain property, equipment, grounds, and assets; perform preventive maintenance.
• Safety and life safety: ensure compliance with laws; inspect and certify safety equipment.
• Administration and special projects: assist with vendor contracts and renovations; support Director of Engineering.
