Job summary

Grand Hyatt Denver is seeking a Hotel Maintenance team member for the 2nd shift to handle general maintenance and repairs across guest rooms, meeting spaces, and public areas.

The role requires responding to guest room calls promptly and delivering outstanding guest service. Mechanical repairs in kitchens and mechanical spaces are also part of the duties, with an emphasis on effective communication and motivation during quieter periods.

Qualifications

• Technical experience in related trades (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC/Refrigeration, Paint & Wallcovering).
• Excellent customer service experience.
• Good communication with Guests, Clients & Hotel Staff.
• Ability to follow safety and security policies and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Two to three years of previous hotel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Summary

Hotel Maintenance 2nd Shift at the Grand Hyatt Denver will be responsible for general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting spaces, public and back‑of‑house spaces. This includes responding to guest room calls in a timely manner and providing outstanding service for our guests. This role will also include mechanical repairs as needed in kitchens, mechanical spaces and interior/exterior building repairs. This role requires a candidate that communicates well and self‑motivates in lower call volume periods.

Shift Details

These hours are 3 pm - 11:30 pm, open availability, and ability to work weekends and holidays. The schedule is subject to change depending on business needs.

The hourly rate for this position is $22.80 /hr.
