Job summary

Grand Hyatt Denver is seeking a Hotel Maintenance technician for 2nd shift to handle general maintenance and repairs across guest rooms, spaces, and back-of-house areas. The role requires timely responses to guest room calls and a focus on outstanding service as well as self-motivation during lower call volumes.

The position runs 3pm–11:30pm with weekend and holiday availability; benefits include insurance, retirement plans, paid holidays, room nights, and travel discounts.

Qualifications

• Technical experience in related trade (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC/Refrigeration, Paint & Wallcovering).
• Ability to follow safety and security policies and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Two to three years of hotel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting spaces, public and back-of-house spaces.
• Respond to guest room calls in a timely manner and provide outstanding service.
• Perform mechanical repairs in kitchens, mechanical spaces and interior/exterior building areas.

Hotel Maintenance 2nd Shift at the Grand Hyatt Denver will be responsible for general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting spaces, public and back-of-house spaces. This includes responding to guest room calls in a timely manner and providing outstanding service for our guests. This role will also include mechanical repairs as needed in kitchens, mechanical spaces and interior/exterior building repairs. This role requires a candidate that communicates well and self-motivates in lower call volume periods.

This position is posted for as 2nd shift hours being 3pm - 11:30pm. Must have open availability and be able to work weekends and holidays. The schedule is subject to change depending on business needs.

Qualifications

Qualifications for this position:
