Job summary

The Omaha Marriott Downtown at the Capitol District is hiring a Loss Prevention/Security Lead Officer. You will help create a safe environment for guests and associates, deter vandalism, theft, and unlawful behavior, and support hotel operations with a strong guest-service focus.

Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring surveillance, enforcing safety policies, and guiding staff through emergencies while upholding Marriott standards and brand policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Hospitality, guest service, or security experience preferred.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).
• Physically able to stand, walk, move continuously and stay alert.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security by patrolling premises and reviewing surveillance.
• Respond to emergencies and suspicious activities promptly.
• Complete incident reports and logs with detailed documentation.
• Oversee Lost and Found operations and record-keeping.
• Guide staff on emergency procedures and security protocols.
• Assist front desk and operations while maintaining guest service standards.
• Participate in safety inspections, audits, and meetings.
