Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts in New York City is seeking a dedicated housekeeping attendant to support room attendants with linen delivery and light cleaning duties. You’ll move items, transport supplies, and keep public areas neat and stocked to ensure guest comfort.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hotel.
• Good communication with other departments to address guest needs.
• Responds promptly to guest requests for housekeeping supplies.
• Addresses guest complaints to achieve guest satisfaction.
• Basic reading and math skills.
• Ability to speak English.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and push/pull up to 300 pounds.
• Frequent standing, bending and movement around the hotel.

Responsibilities

• Assist room attendants with heavy items such as mattresses and linens.
• Delivers linens and other supplies to room attendants.
• Removes dirty linens from carts and transports to laundry.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of floors, closets, water and ice stations.
• Removes trash and cleans designated areas; stores items appropriately.
• Cleans public restrooms, fixtures, storage areas and other areas for assigned floors.
• Monitors and controls supplies to minimize waste in all housekeeping areas.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
