Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group is seeking a customer-focused housekeeping support team member at Fort Drum, NY. You will assist room attendants on assigned floors, handle linens, and help keep public areas clean and well-supplied.

The role requires physical ability (up to 75 lbs) and willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. Prior housekeeping experience is a plus, and benefits are offered to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing and math skills are required.
• Some housekeeping experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist room attendants on assigned floors and collect dirty linens.
• Transport linens to laundry area and deliver fresh linens to room attendant carts.
• Assist with stripping linens and cleaning public areas as needed.
• Deliver and retrieve items requested by guests and staff.
• Clean designated areas including restrooms, fixtures, vending areas, storage areas, and public areas.
• Monitor supplies and minimize waste across housekeeping areas.
• Potentially collect newspapers for recycling.
