Job summary

Marriott Covington is seeking a dedicated Line Cook to join our Food and Beverage Culinary team. You will support chefs with precise ingredient preparation, help create visually appealing dishes, and contribute to delivering exceptional guest experiences in a hotel setting.

The position requires attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen, and at least 1 year of hotel cooking experience. A Culinary or Apprenticeship program is preferred, with a comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications

Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Completion of a Culinary or Apprenticeship Program is preferred.
A minimum of 1 year of cooking experience in a hotel is preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of cooking experience in a similar role, and the size of the operation required.
Basic mathematical skills are necessary to understand recipes, measurements, requisition amounts, and portion sizes.

Responsibilities

Prepare food with meticulous attention to detail.
Support chefs with ingredient preparation for soups, sauces, salads, and various components.
Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of kitchen areas and equipment.
Assist with dishwashing and stewarding duties as needed.
