Landmark Hotel Group's Comfort Inn On The Ocean in Kill Devil Hills, NC is seeking a Line Cook to support kitchen operations and maintain high standards of food safety and guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of line cook experience in hotels or full-service restaurants, can obtain Food Handling certification within four weeks, and is prepared to work weekends and holidays in a fast-paced beachfront property.

Qualifications

• One year experience as a line cook at a hotel or full-service restaurant.
• Ability to obtain Food Handling and Sanitation Certification within four weeks of hire.
• Commensurate or transfer skill set is of primary importance.
• Good attitude and work ethic practices to attain maximum operating efficiency while ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Breakdown work station and complete closing duties according to department standards.
• Return all food items to proper storage areas and rotate items.
• Prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guides.
• Inform Chef/Kitchen Manager of shortages before items run out.
• Inform F&B service staff of 86'd items and available specials during service period.
