Raines Co in Little Rock, AR is seeking a Cook to set up, cook, maintain quality, perform clean-up, and ensure health department guidelines are followed. You will prepare, thaw, portion, label and store items, operate kitchen tools, and ensure timely production to meet menu standards.

Minimum two years of experience in hotels, restaurants or related fields; certifications as required by federal/state/local agencies; a high school diploma or GED; and pre-employment background check are required.

• Minimum High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Certifications as required by Federal, State, or Local agencies.
• Pre-employment background check required.

Responsabilités

• Set up, stock and organize workstation for production of food items.
• Preparations (thaws, cuts, machines) food items according to menu standards and store properly.
• Use kitchen tools and equipment safely and accurately.
• Check stock levels in coolers, report shortages and order as needed using FIFO.
• Prepare broiled, baked, grilled, steamed, sauteed, blended and fried items using recipes.
• Know cooking times and temperatures to ensure proper cooking and high quality.
• Plate food according to standard plating with garnishments and quantities.
• Perform side duties including cleaning, inventory and organizing.
• Work well in high-pressure situations maintaining composure and objectivity.
