Job summary

Peachtree Group is seeking a professional Line Cook at the AC Hotel McKinney to prepare food to exact chef’s specifications and to set up stations for the menu. The Line Cook assists the executive and sous chefs with daily tasks to support service.

This on-site role requires flexibility across AM/PM shifts in a fast-paced hotel kitchen and contributes to guest satisfaction and acquisition goals. Peachtree Group offers a comprehensive benefits package and a robust 401(k) retirement match.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a line cook or in a high-volume kitchen.
• Ability to follow recipes and presentation standards.
• Commitment to food safety and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.
• Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
• Cook food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
• Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
• Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.
• Ability to work an AM shift, PM shift or both.
