Job summary

Embassy Suites by Hilton Detroit Troy Auburn Hills is seeking a Cook to prepare high-quality meals in accordance with standardized recipes and presentation guidelines. You will work closely with the culinary team to ensure timely, safe, and delicious food service for guests in a fast-paced hotel kitchen.

You will report to the Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager and have opportunities to advance within the culinary team.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience is a plus.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to read product labels and communicate with guests about job-related needs.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• You will be the culinary talent behind our hotel's dining experiences, preparing delicious and fresh meals that delight our guests.
• Daily tasks include preparing menu items, ensuring food safety and quality standards, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
• You will report to the Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager.
• A career in cooking can lead to progression to line cook, sous chef, or executive chef.
