Job summary

A line Cook position at the Residence Inn Portland Downtown RiverPlace, operated by Aimbridge Hospitality, is responsible for preparing and cooking all items per recipes for the hotel’s restaurant, banquets, and lounge. The role emphasizes cleanliness, safety, and cost control.

The incumbent will prepare food to order, maintain high standards, and support banquets and cafe service as required, while following brand guidelines and kitchen procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Food handlers certification required per state regulations.
• Must communicate clearly with guests and team members.
• Ability to stay composed and accurate in high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests and colleagues in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain attendance per hotel scheduling and brand standards.
• Keep uniform and grooming to brand standards.
• Follow Aimbridge Hospitality safety rules and policies.
• Know menus and required preparation for the outlet and banquets.
