Azul Hospitality seeks an experienced cook to manage all aspects of food production for hotel outlets at Le Meridien Element Salt Lake City Downtown. The role involves preparing foods per recipes, ensuring sanitation, and coordinating with the Executive Chef and related departments to deliver high-quality guest experiences.

You will operate in a fast-paced kitchen, follow established mise en place, and support continuous hotel programs while adhering to safety standards and quality controls.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent education required.
• One to three years culinary experience.
• State required food handlers certification card, if applicable.

Responsabilités

• Read menu to estimate food requirements and assist Executive Chef with orders.
• Adjust thermostat controls to regulate temperature of ovens, boilers, grills, roasters, and steam kettles.
• Prepare food items for customers using a quality, predetermined method in a timely manner.
• Measure and mix ingredients using kitchen utensils and equipment to prepare foods.
• Set up station with mise en place for service across all functions.
• Maintain sanitation and safety to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Consult with Executive Chef daily and coordinate with related departments.
