Qualifications

• Minimum lifting of 20 pounds; ability to push, bend, stoop, upward reaching, manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Load articles into washer and make sure correct code is entered into machines.
• Wash clothes according to StepStone and hotel standards.
• Sort dried articles based on item type and check for stains and damage.
• Fold and place items in appropriate storage racks.
• Use bio-red bags for contaminated articles when they are found.
• Soak articles according to procedure in bleach.
• Check and clean all filters on washers and driers every two hours.
• Make rounds to pull dirty linen from the housekeeping carts as needed.
• Assist with monthly linen inventory.
