Job summary

DoubleTree Hotel Augusta is seeking a Linen/Housekeeping Attendant to manage washer duties and linen handling. You will wash, sort, fold, and store hotel linens while following established procedures and safety rules.

Responsibilities include checking filters, pulling dirty linen, and assisting in monthly inventory. Must communicate in English and adhere to hotel policies, with a focus on accuracy and professional interaction with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Load articles into washer and ensure correct code is entered.
• Wash clothes according to hotel standards.
• Sort dried articles by type and check for stains or damage.
• Fold and store items on appropriate racks.
• Use bio-red bags for contaminated articles when found.
• Soak articles according to bleach procedure.
• Check and clean all filters on washers and dryers every two hours.
• Pull dirty linen from housekeeping carts during rounds.
• Assist with monthly linen inventory.
