LakePoint Augusta is seeking a dependable Housekeeper/Laundry Attendant to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff at our Augusta facility.

The role includes cleaning rooms and spaces, performing laundry tasks, following infection control protocols, and collaborating with the team. Candidates should have a high school diploma and experience in healthcare housekeeping or laundry where possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in housekeeping and laundry services (healthcare setting preferred).
• Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, and facility spaces.
• Perform laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and personal clothing.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with additional housekeeping or laundry tasks as assigned.
