Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a Laundry Attendant to support hotel operations by cleaning, sorting, and inspecting linens, and ensuring linens are available in clean condition for guests.

You will operate commercial laundry equipment, maintain a tidy work area, and report equipment issues while adhering to hotel policies. The job may include weekends, holidays and evening shifts; physical requirements include standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Experience in laundry operations preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Attention to detail and the ability to recognize fabric types and stains.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens according to fabric type and soil.
• Inspect linens for tears, stains, or damage and remove them from circulation.
• Operate washers, dryers, and ironing machines safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times.
• Report equipment malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
• Assist with inventory of cleaning supplies and linens; report shortages.
• Adhere to hotel policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
