Job summary

Grand Sierra Resort is seeking a reliable maintenance team member to support hotel operations, upkeep and safety. You will respond to guest inquiries, coordinate with teams, and maintain essential equipment across the property.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work flexible hours, and follow strict safety protocols to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth hotel operations.

Qualifications

• Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Must be able to read and follow instructions and work safely in a hospitality maintenance environment.
• Able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and work varied shifts as needed to support hotel operations.

Responsibilities

• Listen and respond to guest inquiries with a positive, clear voice and assist to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Inform management staff of maintenance problems and report equipment deficiencies.
• Receive keys, radios and job assignments daily and coordinate work plan.
• Maintain and repair laundry systems and equipment.
• Communicate with other shifts to minimize downtime on projects.
• Follow safety procedures including lock-out-tag-out and fire watch.
