Job summary

Grand Sierra Resort is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to oversee the upkeep of property utilities and building systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, inventory management, and daily CMMS entries to ensure optimal operation.

You will collaborate with various departments, respond to emergencies, and serve as a representative for the Property Operations team, supporting a range of mechanical and electrical systems in a hotel/casino environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in Engineering, General Maintenance, or a combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Facilities experience in hotel/casino/resort industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair property utilities and building systems to ensure proper operation.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and record inventory of replacement parts.
• Communicate with management and other departments to coordinate maintenance tasks.
• Adhere to CMMS HotSoS for work requests and preventive maintenance.
• Respond to fire, smoke, or emergency calls and assist as needed.
• Act as maintenance representative for the Property Operations department.
