Job summary

Grand Sierra Resort is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee the upkeep and repair of property utilities and building systems. You will troubleshoot, replace inventory parts, and ensure optimal operation of electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.

You will inform management of issues, coordinate daily work plans, and maintain records using a CMMS HotSoS. Ability to work across shifts and respond to emergencies is essential in this hotel/casino setting.

Qualifications

• Must have 3 years' experience in Engineering, General Maintenance, Construction, or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Facilities experience in hotel/casino/resort industry is preferred.
• Must be able to maintain valid driver's license and meet GSR driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the maintenance and repair of property utilities.
• Troubleshoot, maintain and record inventory equipment replacement parts.
• Maintain all building systems and equipment, including repairs, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, pneumatic, hydraulic equipment and appliances to ensure effective operation.
• Inform management staff of problems requiring maintenance and report any equipment deficiencies.
• Receive keys, radio and job assignments daily, coordinate work plan and apply standard maintenance practices.
