Job summary

Town Pump Company is seeking a Laundry/Linen Attendant to manage linen inventory, sort and re-stock items, and ensure a clean, organized laundry area in accordance with brand standards. The role supports a Genuine Hospitality ethos by maintaining high service levels and attention to detail.

The position requires the ability to lift up to 20 pounds, work in a busy environment, and follow safety guidelines. Training will be provided, and a flexible schedule is expected to meet guest needs.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of general housekeeping and recordkeeping preferred.
  • Ability to comprehend oral and written instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to communicate in a courteous, professional manner with teammates, management, and guests.
  • Ability to work independently, but with occasional interruptions.
  • Ability to compute basic math; basic computer skills are a plus.
  • Flexible and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain linen inventory and ensure items are in good condition.
  • Collect, sort, treat, clean, fold, and re-stock soiled terry and linen according to Town Pump standards.
  • Ensure the best possible guest experience within Town Pump guidelines.
  • Complete required training and certifications in a timely manner.

Summary

Job description:

Performs duties to collect, sort, clean, fold, and re‑stock terry and linen according to Town Pump and brand operational standards. Model the Hotel Group Mission Statement “Genuine Hospitality from genuine people committed to providing comfort and service.”

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Ensure the best possible experience for each guest, within the framework of Town Pump operating guidelines.
  • Complete all required company and brand-specific training and/or certifications in a timely manner.
  • Wear uniform and nametag while on shift and follow Town Pump’s grooming and appearance guidelines.
  • Collect, sort, treat, clean, fold, and re‑stock soiled terry and linen according to Town Pump and brand operational standards.
  • Ensure that all linen inventory is accounted for and in good condition.
  • Practice safe working conditions under Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines to include Bloodborne Pathogens. This includes maintaining a clean, organized laundry room within Town Pump operational standards.
  • May be required to perform other duties such as assisting in inventories, cleaning guest rooms, and public areas, assisting with breakfast service etc.
  • Comply with Town Pump expectations for the confidentiality of guest and company information.
