Job summary

Omni Oklahoma City Hotel is seeking a part-time steward to wash dishes, pots and pans, mop floors, and ensure a steady supply of clean china, glassware, and silver. You will support kitchen operations and maintain sanitation standards in a fast-paced convention hotel environment.

Ideal candidates are able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, and must pass a Food Handler certification upon hire. Local residency within 50 miles is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for extended periods (8 hours per shift).
• Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry moderate weight.
• Must attain a valid Food Handler certification upon hire.
• Must live within 50 miles of the hotel.
• Must be able to work various shifts, holidays and weekends.
• Must communicate effectively and maintain cleanliness; promote safety.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for proper cleaning, rack and distribution of all china, silver, and glassware.
• Maintains required standards of sanitation and cleanliness.
• Minimize breakage of circulating equipment.
• Follow/enforce company policies and procedures.
• Complete other duties assigned by management.
