Job summary

Omni Viking Lakes Hotel is seeking a dedicated Steward to uphold high standards of cleanliness in our food and beverage areas. You will wash, store and stock ware, assist in deep kitchen cleaning, and support cooks and servers to ensure top-notch guest experiences.

The role requires 2 years of kitchen experience, a strong team attitude, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays. Benefits include medical, dental, and 401k offerings where applicable.

Qualifications

• 2 years of kitchen experience required, preferably in fine dining or luxury hotels.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas at all times.
• Strong customer service orientation and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Sort and wash soiled ware and keep dish machine clean and stocked.
• Detarnish and polish silverware for proper appearance.
• Clean kettles, pots and pans and transport utensils for kitchen staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas and equipment; sweep and mop floors.
• Report inventory and supplies to supervisor and assist stewarding as needed.
• Assist Stewarding Supervisor with inventories and departmental duties.
