Job summary

You will support dishwashing, utensil transport, and inventory reporting while assisting kitchen staff to ensure smooth dining operations. A physically demanding role with weekend shifts, requiring adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Unexpired Food Handlers certification or obtain upon hire.
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
• Effective communication with teammates and supervisors.
• Excellent safety and sanitation skills required.
• Physical stamina to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Sort soiled ware for dish/pot machine and keep dish area clean and stocked.
• Detarnish/polish silver for proper appearance.
• Clean kettles, pots and pans promptly to support cooks.
• Transport and clean utensils to provide equipment for dining staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Sweep and mop floors; wash tables, walls and refrigerators.
• Handle trash and sanitation of garbage containers.
• Steam-clean or hose-out garbage cans; ensure proper chemical storage.
