• Set up work station including dish machine setup, check chemical levels, presoaking, and collect setup items.
• Clean equipment like hoods, filters, steam tables, bus tables, carts, ovens, grills, sinks and refrigerators; handle chemicals properly.
• Check equipment and machinery condition; report hazards or threats to security of guests, employees or assets.
• Empty and clean trash cans; transport garbage to dump sites; follow recycling rules.
• Set up and monitor the pot sink per procedures.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors at end of meals or after spills.
• Monitor chemicals and water temperature; keep area and equipment organized for efficiency.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily coordination with Catering, Banquets, Outlets and Maintenance.
• May assist with other duties as assigned.
