Job summary

Oliver Hospitality Payroll, LLC seeks a diligent Steward to wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, and utensils, supporting the food prep staff in a fast-paced hotel setting.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean kitchen, scraping and sorting dishes, managing detergents, attending safety meetings, and storing items properly; physical stamina to stand up to 12 hours and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Hospitality experience preferred.
• Eligible to work in the USA.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Prolonged standing for up to 12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean working environment by sweeping and mopping kitchen floors daily.
• Scrape plates, sort dishes, and rinse glassware before putting them in the dishwasher to be cleaned.
• Maintain proper amounts of detergents and other cleaning supplies, and notify the supervisor of any mechanical defects with the dishwashing machine.
• Attend regular employee meetings that will help you stay current on all procedures and safety protocols.
• Place utensils and dishes in proper storage areas after unloading the dishwasher.
