Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of culinary experience.
• At least 1 year of hotel/restaurant experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or hotel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares or directs preparation of food using established procedures.
• Adheres to sanitation, hygiene and health standards.
• Stores food safely with proper dating.
• Reports equipment needs and maintenance to supervisor.
• Follows standard recipes and dietary orders.
• Plans production to align with meal serving times.
• Apportions food portions for service.
• Keeps daily production records and maintains cleanliness of work area.
• Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
