Job summary

Valor Hospitality Partners is seeking a kitchen team member to prepare culinary delights for guests and hotel clientele. You will handle daily food prep in pantry, fry stations or other kitchen areas, ensuring quality and safety standards while maintaining a sanitary work environment.

Responsibilities include preparing food to spec, assembling orders accurately, rotating perishables, and supporting cost-control efforts.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience; culinary certificate or degree preferred.
• Three - Six months in a food/beverage services environment or establishment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards, records and standards.
• Start food items ahead of time without over-preparing.
• Assemble multiple orders quickly and accurately.
• Rotate perishables and maintain proper temperatures.
• Check pars for shift use and assist in buffet stocking.
• Return unused items to storage and date perishables.
• Control food waste and costs; identify and resolve issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
