Job summary

Valor Hospitality Partners, LLC is seeking a kitchen prep professional to support daily culinary operations in a hotel environment. You will prepare items for pantry, fry stations, and other kitchen areas, ensuring quality and sanitary standards while following production requirements.

Responsibilities include preparing dishes to spec, rotating inventory, assembling orders accurately, and helping control food costs. Strong English communication and basic knife skills are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• Culinary certificate or degree preferred.
• 3–6 months in a food/beverage services environment or establishment.
• Strong knowledge of operating industrial sized ovens and cooking ranges.
• Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills.
• Knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production standards.
• Start comin items ahead of time to meet estimated needs.
• Assemble multiple orders accurately and efficiently.
• Rotate perishable items and maintain proper storage temperatures.
• Check pars for shift use and determine necessary preparation.
• Note any out-of-stock items and assist in buffet stock.
• Assist in setting up plans to reduce food costs and waste.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
